Meet the Rick Arcusa Band

Rick Arcusa- Lead Singer/Guitar

My musical beginnings go way back to my childhood in Prince George's County, Md. A love for music was instilled by my mom and dad. My dad sang, played guitar and harmonica with his Navy brothers (a bunch of fellow fun loving Filipinos). One of my earliest memories (I must've been 4 y/o) are of them playing and singing at my mom's birthday party. What fun they were having!!

Vanya Arcusa- Percussion/Vocals/Saxophone

I come from a family of musicians. Both of my grandmothers were talented pianists. My maternal grandmother played piano and sang in lounges and big bands for years. My paternal grandmother played the piano and sang in the church where her father was the preacher, a completely different end of the spectrum. She was the choir director as well. Her husband, my grandfather, was also an accomplished, professional pianist back in the early1900s. He traveled with several big bands and was a very talented player.

Rob "Bassmaster" Hagen- Bass

Rob was born and raised in Jacksonville and is a multi-talented musician, playing bass in a couple of rock bands and trombone in a big band. One of Rob’s little quirks is that he likes to play barefoot, so all you have to do is look down to see if Rob has gotten into his groove yet. He has been playing bass for over 30 years and been into music for as he says “all my life”. He is the musician’s musician with a very extensive knowledge of the technical side of music as well as the performance side. Rob is also very community minded, always willing to work on benefit shows for worthy causes and keeping the rest of R.A.B. involved too.

Erik Lundgren- Lead Guitar/Vocals

Erik, a Jacksonville, Florida, native exploded onto the music
scene at just 14 years old. By the time he was 16, he cut his first
album while with the Johnny Van Zant Band. Since then Erik has performed on stages all over the world with The Austin Nichols Band (1977 - 1978), The Johnny Van Zant Band ( l978- 1987), Molly Hatchet (1983), Van Zant II (2001) and Van Zant (2005 - 2008) to name a few. His musical career
far from over, Erik continues to astound audiences as an accomplished guitarist and vocalist.

Danny Southworth- Drums/Vocals

I have performed with many different types bands from Rock, Funk, Disco, Country, Punk, Latin, Jazz and even with The Jacksonville Symphony. I have played with many well-known musicians and actors during my career including Bob Hope, Woody Herman and Maynard Ferguson. On the road I toured with Hester’s Battery, Infinity, Soup and Fistful of Jazz. In Jacksonville I either have been a member of or performed with DownUnder, Foreplay, Snatch, Toys, Matanzas, The Sony Ray Band, Seabreeze, The Cliché, The Worms and many more....
